Game Animation Workshop - 3 days

Service Description

This hands-on workshop is split into 3 sessions, spread over 3 weeks — one full day per week. This pacing is intentional: it gives you time between sessions to apply what you’ve learned, iterate on your animations, and get meaningful feedback. When you book, you’re reserving your spot for Day 1, and your place in the full 3-day workshop is secured. The following 2 sessions take place one week apart, on the same weekday. FORMAT AND TOOLS: • Duration: 6 hours per session • Schedule: 1 session per week, over 3 weeks • Platform: Online Discord • Reviews: Offline feedback via Syncsketch between sessions • Group Size: Max 20 participants WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: • Live Demo + Q&A: I’ll demonstrate my animation workflow from scratch, with Q&A throughout for immediate clarification. • Exercises + Feedback: Animators complete practical exercises, receiving feedback both during and between sessions for iterative improvement. • Game Animation Lessons: We’ll cover essential game animation techniques, blending artistic and technical insights. • Game Animation Analysis: We’ll analyze animations from well-known games, breaking down what makes them effective. • Career Development: Discussion on career growth, positioning in the industry, and insights from my 15 years on AAA titles like Prince of Persia and No Rest for the Wicked. • Group-Driven Topics: The workshop can adapt to specific group interests for more personalized learning. • Extra Review: One additional post-workshop review is offered for detailed feedback on final projects.
